"Life is too short to spend it doing things that don't make a real impact."

OUR STORY

Jeremy and Naomi Connor are the founders of Seeds of Action. They have a history of volunteering in the areas of missions, outreach, personal development and finances. Naomi started her missionary journeys while in high school and continued by attending a YWAM DTS on the Mercy Ships. After getting married, Jeremy and Naomi went to Africa on a trip where their hearts for missions were unified. They went on to serve and lead many trips into Mexico. In 2010 they felt a significant call to feed the nations during a conference they attended. From 2010 until 2015 the mandate has become more defined.

At the age of 12 Jeremy began his experience with produce by helping the family with their fruit stand at the local flea market. As the family business grew Jeremy repackaged produce in the backyard and delivered to local restaurants. Getting married and moving to Colorado Jeremy was out of the produce industry and focused on non-profit work. In Late 2008 his father was diagnosed with cancer and moved to Georgia to help run the family produce repackaging and redistribution business. In 2012 his father graduated to heaven and Jeremy continued to serve the produce contract until it ended. The end of a tough season marks the beginning of a new season. Jeremy is combining the experience of running a multi-million dollar organization with the passion to help people live to their full potential. He is focusing his next season on uniting global resources to end malnutrition.

Naomi is dedicated to whatever she does. She graduated high school valedictorian of her high school. After her time with Mercy Ships she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS degree in Accounting. She worked as a CPA for a number of years until she decided to dedicate her life to mothering and raising her 4 children to be world changers. She has continued to use her education by overseeing the finances for the churches she has attended. Jeremy and Naomi create a team that has the vision and dedication to change the world.

The Norwoods have been deeply involved with the formation of Seeds of Action. They accepted the invitation to join the board of directors. They will create a strong foundation by uniting their individual strengths with the strengths of Jeremy and Naomi.

Seeds of Action is based out of Grand Junction, Colorado for several reasons. Jeremy is on the board of Waters Edge 365, a local non-profit organization getting its start with a focus on ending world hunger through education, training and development of agricultural systems. Grand Junction has a deep heritage of helping others: Naomi's grandparents, Kenneth and Lois Lampert, made spiritual, social and professional contributions to Grand Junction and Don and Deyon Stephens, who founded the Mercy Ships organization. All of Naomi's immediate family live there. Also in 1998 Jeremy proposed to Naomi in Grand Junction, one of the most sentimental milestones. All of these are great reasons but most importantly they believe God has led them to base out of Grand Junction. The name alone represents GREAT UNITY!
